FEELING QUITE SENTIMENTAL TODAY

I've been having my ups and downs today. Dunno whats up, I guess I'm a little over-emotional today.
...Or blame it on post period hormone imbalance.
I haven't done an inspiration post in a way too long time, so here's what cheered my up today.

I read a really good blog post on Marie's Blog, where I also stole the pictures from. x)

Also I couldn't help smiling and when I watched this video. Not only is it a cover of one of my favorite feel good songs (I like to party to this alone in my room - you guys know what that looks like ;) ), but also I love how Leroy is simply having fun. He's truly gifted. And how cute is he?! :)
So why am I smiling out from ear to ear? Because you put a smile on my face, Leroy. Keep doing what you do.

MARY KATRANTZOU X TOPSHOP

Though you know I'm a big sceptic of print disasters and anything to heavy on the eye I find Mary Kantrantzou's use of prints in her design very intriguing. Contradicting. I know. The female mind rarely (never!!!!) makes sense.
Mary Kantrantzou's 5 piece collection for Topshop was launched just in time for the London Fashion Week Opening and Topshops 10 year anniversary of supporting British fashion. And I instantly fell in love with that (above.) dress! It has the typical tea cup skirt shape that always remind me of Mary Katrantzou.
I want it! Though I heard it sold out in minutes. The entire collection did. wowzaa!
I thought the common perceiver was rather hostile towards prints.
But then again, we are going crazy for prints right now, aren't we??

Ihr wisst ja, dass ich skeptisch bin bei Print Disasters, die zu sehr ins Auge stechen, dennoch finde ich Mary Kantranzou's Gebrauch von Prints nahezu faszinierend. Wiedersprüchlich. Ich weiß. Die weibliche Denkensweise macht selten (nie!!!!) Sinn.
Mary Kantrantzous 5-teilige Kollektion für Topshop wurde passend zum Start der Londoner Modewoche gelauncht und Topshops zehnjähriger Unterstützung britischer Mode. Und ich hab mich sofort in dieses (oben.) Kleid verliebt! Es hat die typische Teetassen-rock-form, die mich immer an Mary Katrantzou erinnert.
Ich will es! Aber ich hab gehört es war sofort ausverkauft. Die gesamte Kollektion war sofort ausverkauft.  wowzaa!
Hätte gedacht, dass die Menschheit eher print-unfreundlich ist.
Aber dann wiederum sind wir zur Zeit verrückt nach Prints, nicht wahr??

CREAM PERFECTION

Totally inspired right this minute by cream, bum bags and black simple strappy heels. Those shoes are by Zara. I should save up for those, because in my eyes they are timeless - pure simple perfection.
If bum bags (what a ridiculous name?!?) would have always looked this glamourous as opposed to this, I would have never said that bum bags are the ugliest piece of crap on planet. This is the way to wear it I'd wear it!
Then again The Row did managed to change my attitude towards backpacks AND even that I would fall in love with a backpack. Well, not any backpacks, this one to be exact. The best thing, I always thought, was ridding myself from much hated backpacks (4YOU remember those?? HAHA) during my transition from primary school to high school.
Who knew I'd actually like a backpack. Well here I am actually loving a bum bag. I shouldn't be too surprised. Cheers to The Row, mesdames Mary Kate and Ashley & cream combined with the simplicity of black strappy heels.

Total inspiriert jetzt genau von der Farbe creme, Bauchtaschen und schwarze simpele Strappy Heels. Diese Schuhe sind von Zara. Ich sollte für die sparen, denn in meinen Augen sind sie zeitlos - pure simpele Perfektion.
Hätten Bauchtaschen immer so glamorös ausgesehen im Gegensatz zu dies, hätte ich nie gesagt, dass Bauchtaschen die hässlichste Scheiße der Welt ist. So sollte man würde ich sie tragen!
Dann wiederum hat The Row es auch geschafft meine Einstellung gegenüber Rucksäcken zu ändern UND sogar, dass ich mich in Rucksäcke verliebe. Naja, nicht irgendwelche Rucksäcke, dieser um präzise zu sein. Das Beste, dachte ich immer, war, dass ich mich von den so gehassten Rucksäcken (4YOU kennt ihr die noch?? HAHA) trennen konnte, während meines Umstiegs von Grundschule zur Oberschule.
Wer hätte gedacht, dass ich einen Rucksack irgendwann wieder mögen würde. Nun ja, hier stehe ich und liebe eine Bauchtasche. Ich sollte nicht so überrascht sein. Cheers to The Row, mesdames Mary Kate und Ashley & creme in Kombination mit der Schlichtheit von schwarzen Strappy Heels.
