Sorry I have been absent for a while, but I have had some troubles with the internet. Anyway I spent my weekend with Jan, Josie and Dustin. Paaartey people!
Saturday was the Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Party that took place in 50 cities all across the globe on the same day. (btw. Madonna partied in NY & searched for a new background dancer for her upcoming tour!). We partied 'Brazilian style' and the Motto of the night was "Electric Carnival".
We enjoyed a live concert by CSS, a performance by Brazilian dancers in their full costume and shirtless Brazilian drummers parading across the dance floor and partied in the VIP section (huuuuge thank you to Vreni for the press pass!) with Brazilian meat pies (also filled with other stuff, but I know them from my mom as meat pies :) ), free drinks and the best view over the complete party.
Best drink? German Apfelstrudel for sure! ;)

Sorry, dass ich in letzet Zeit abwesend war, aber ich hatte ein paar Problem mit meinem Internet. Jedenfalls habe ich mein Wochenende mit Jan, Josie und Dustin verbracht. Paaartey people!
Samstag fand die Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Party statt, die gleichzeitig in 50 verschiedenen Städten der Welt lief. (Btw Madonna war in NY mit dabei und suchte nach einen neuem Backgrounddancer für ihre bevorstehende Tour!). Wir feierten 'Brazilian Style' und das Motto der Party war "Electric Carnival".
Wir genossen den live Auftritt von CSS, eine Parade der brasilianischen Tänzer im traditionellen Samba Kostüm und oberkörperfreien brasilianischen Trommlern einmal quer durch die gesamte Tanzfläche, feierten in der VIP Section (groooßes Danke an Vreni für die Pressepass!) mit brasilianischen Meatpies (die waren auch mit anderen Dingen gefüllt, aber ich kenne die von meiner Mama als meatpies :) ), freien Drinks und die beste Sicht auf die gesamte Party.
Bestes Getränk? Sicher German Apfelstrudel! ;)

I MISSED THE PRESS DAYS

Yeah I did. Sucks. It's actually due to a really dumb story.

Okay let me tell ya so you can laugh at how stupid I am. You need business cards to enter the Press Day Showrooms or the fair at the sight where the last times Premium was.
Remember how I told you after Fashion Week, I learned that I NEED to get business cards. It's the Blogger 101. Yeah.. never happened. xD
So here I am at the copy shop improvising like a retard to get my business card i.e. ultimate pass to enter the Press Days.
It went something like this: *open word, write down name, address, number, blog address, email, check if you spelled everything correct, copy paste, print on hard paper, cut, cut again coz it's chief!!
FIIIINNNIIISSSHHHEED! yeah. I'm a Rockstaaarrrzzz*
Ironically the Press Days are over when I finish my ultimate pass. Hahaha!
And Germans are punctual. If it's over at 6, it's over at 6. No later.
It just had to happen that way.
Guess that was a lesson for me. *Though shalt not procrastinate.* 
I'm a master of procrastination, serious master of disaster. Oh yeah.. which reminds me I still have a paper due Tuesday for school.. nice pahahahah!

My cards are pretty humongous. They are as big as my identity card.

I've been invited to the Press Days in London though. I doubt I'll be jetting over to London next week. Hardly gonna happen. Sadly...

Anyway, I've had a look at some pictures from my friend Jasmin and the stuff looked pretty promising (e.g. Acne!) ;)
This post was supposed to be filled with fashion coming up with material from the Press Days, but instead I'll force you to look at moi thanks to my Mac's awesome photo booth! Haha :D

MBFW DAY 2

Jessy's BF in chili peppers trousers- hot! ;) I Jessys Freund in einer Chilischotenhose - hot!;)

Day 2 was more of a Showroom day for me. I didn't have any shows until late afternoon and I spent my day with Van Anh and Milly at the Premium strolling through the exhibition. Sadly, it wasn't allowed to take any pictures inside the Premium.
We meet the lovely girls from Ready to Fish, hanged a while with them and took pictures together. I loved their clothes and furniture (!) there. If I'm in Amsterdam on a Friday I will definitely check out their Friday Afternoon cocktails, they have every month.
We lusted over the shoes at the Jeffrey Campbell stand and after a long day strolling through the exhibition and chatting with the designers or representatives and collecting cards and bags, it was time to leave.

But not until Milly and me got to party it up at the exclusive Armani section on the site!
Funny thing was, I was just curious to see if there was another section of the Premium behind the huge (hot) poster of Megan Fox and Rafael Nadal. Instead I found a reception and a bodyguard standing in the doorway.
The girl at the reception was a girl from my school! Small world, huh? She was so kind to let me and Milly enter the party :D
Inside, we got a good look at the new "project" Armani is having and went out to the exclusiv terrace: Music at full blast, glasses of champagne being passed around by the catering service and rich people having a small talk. Ofcourse this was a picture free zone too :(
Anyway we left after a few minutes as time was running out.

I was supposed to go to the Bread&Butter afterward too and the Greenshowroom, but there was no time as I was already rushing back to the tent to hop into one of the shuttle services to escort me to the Wood Wood show. Prior to Wood Wood I met up with Jessica and Dawid to find something to little eat, bumped into The Clothes Whisper and we were already on our way to Wood Wood.

Magical show! The red dress and green jumper are already high on my wishlist. Sigh...


Sadly most of the pictures from the premium are with Van Ahn and she is living it up big time in Vietnam at the moment. Which reminds me, I'm off to Verona on Thursday for a two week holiday! :D
